dear weekend,

I am glad you are here.
lets go through the day of a normal viking student. in other words, yours truly.

I start with the morning ritual: read the scriptures, do the hair, throw together an outfit, the usual. then i snag my yogurt and practically skip to daphne. (take note: i am in a good mood. it will come into play later.) i listen to cory and keetch in the morning, who enjoy talking about gandy's and replacing student body presidents.

i speed walk to class because its written into the schedule. i have the time down to a science and usually find myself showing up at exactly 7:42. giving me 30 seconds in the classroom before the bell screams at me. i head into the seminary building and analyze the list with all of the other hopeful seminary students. taggart, fossum, browne, whimpey. there i am. i walk into the class room and i stand there stunned. i thought the lord knew better than to put sidney and i in the same class. going to be a fun year!

i spent second period organizing the student council room. get this picture: small room, by myself. i may or may not talk out loud to solve my organizational problems.

statistics is going to kill me. end of story. my teacher constantly reminds us that he is only 3 class periods ahead of us. i resorted to tally marks in order to create a histogram. its only the second day people.

lunch used to be the best time of the day. still is.
but now i feel like it is just more torture before we go home.
today was different though. check out what cade got.. for the price of one lunch.

MEGA PIZZA.
and ryan was testing out his squinty eyes. or something of that sort.

photo is going to be fun. its a super basic class, but today we watched a movie and i almost fell asleep. thats a weakness of mine: falling asleep in movies.

then i mix and mingle in the halls (because thats what teenagers do) and make my way out to daphne. i throw my junk in the car and head home. then i dump all my belongings everywhere because i'm too tired to do anything else. when i'm lucky, i take a quick catnap

now onto better things:

the poor choir kids have gotten the short end of the stick this year. homecoming is over shakespeare festival and chamber retreat. then, sweethearts is the closing night of phantom of the opera. oh? can't get much worse than that? prom is during choir tour.
not to fret. prom is most likely being changed. april 30th is the date in mind.
also, sweethearts is in the process of being resolved.
what a nightmare.

we play riverton tonight. we can beat them, i mean come on, they're purple.

i'm super excited for the assembly on tuesday. and you should be too.
