just one of those days.

yes. It is just one of those days.

you catch the last few seconds of every good song on the radio.

you forget your folders at home.

sorry coach.

your brother has to get to school early. therefore sacrificing 15 minutes of preparation time.

outfits do not go as planned.

you finally remember to bring clothing for softball.. soon to find out you leave out your cleats.

grade in spanish, looking on the shaky side.

minimal lunch time: all the goodness of the day is gone.

work. it ruins lives.

the ACT still haunts the back of your mind. though you clearly took it already.

you just don't feel too great.

just one of those days.

But hey. Things will brighten up. I have a night of mini-golfing in my future. :)

Dear Whit,
Thanks for being my [friend.]

a tasty series.

here it is: my new obsession.

This series is insanely captivating. I read each book in an average of two days. (all three over UEA break. Thus, the week was fabulous.) I am such an avid reader. Once I get started in a book I literally cannot let it go. This was definitely not an exception. When Twilight first came out I vowed never again to pick up a vampire wannabe book. nothing could possibly match it right? right. but... I didn't consider that some could get pretty darn close.

I saw it in the store and even though I had sworn my love to bella and edward.. I had to admit, the back cover sounded promising. So I gave it a try. Blue bloods is an in-depth tale of eternal vampires who take on different physical shells, while their blood is the living element that goes through cycles. As they reach the age of 15 they start into their "sunset years" where they make the change from human to vampire, recovering their past memories from all their past lives. Schyler Van Alen (pronounced skyler.) finds herself to belong to this group of blue bloods. Where before, she just assumed they were the snobby rich people of New York. Ends up that they are all together, immortal, unkillable beings.

Yet, they soon find that that is not quite the case. Aggie Carondolet, a fellow vampire is found dead, drained of all her blood. There is something preying on their kind. While amidst all this trouble there is of course... the classic, twisted evil love plot. That would take far too long to explain. But, Jack Force.. the babe of all babes, is finally paying attention to Schyler. Attention that could ruin them both. For eternity.

Got you yet? ugh it is such a great series and guess what? I have yet to finish it. So even if I wanted to spoil it I couldn't. The fourth and final book just came out two weeks ago. The Van Alen Legacy. I am dying for it. I just ordered it online.. and I am awaiting this Wednesday when I will run home from school. And there it will be....... waiting for me.

isn't it ironic?

Alanis Morrisette says it best:

It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just can't take
Who would've thought... it figures.

It's so true! Things always seem to turn out with some ironic point to prove. Here is a list of ironic stories (myself and others encounters.)

Just the other day, I was driving as I was on the phone with a policeman.
as I drove down the street I thought to myself, wow. This is a little strange.
good thing I didn't get pulled over by a policeman while I was talking to one.. confusing?

online pop-ups advertising help getting rid of online pop-ups.
now this one could be genius. Like a classic.. sick of this?

needing to pay someone, to help you pay your taxes.
I have never quite thought about this one.. but it is so true! Why do you pay someone to help you figure out what to pay? That doesn't seem fair and just to me. but what is anymore? The government should hire people to do that. Like tax collectors! from Robin Hood times!!

That Valentine's Day was placed in February, just in case single people who have recovered from the loneliness that Christmas and New Year's Eve induced.
I just got a kick out of this one. Poor people.

starbucks office coffee is disgusting.
you want to work there just for the coffee? think again.

The psychics house down the street burned down.
I don't think she saw that one coming...

there is a fur store. right between a pet shop and a veteranarian.
there is something fishy about this one. I wonder where the vets took spot when he died...

haha I laughed pretty hard at a few of these. Though, I really hate it when ironic things happen to me. Hope you enjoyed them!
