whirlwind of a week.

Who knew that moving could be such a pain?! but I am super excited for the new scene. and even better, today I have graduated from the ground and bought a mattress. whoo.

The worst part is finding the perfect bedding and such. Here are some pictures.. for your browsing interests.

This here is the room. of course now, it looks like a junk bus has dropped off its belongings.... but it is definitely a step up from that claustrophobic place I used to call my room. :)

I am thinking kind of old english, twall, newspaper, iron and such.
Here are some examples: kinda where I got the ideas..

my bed is somewhat like this... only its a sleigh bed, and a bit more detailed.

(notice the twall couch! love it! :)
This old looking sheet music is cool too.. they just hodge podged it onto things.. like lamps.
hopefully it will turn out cute... though I don't really care anymore. I just want to get everything in!

kind of a random post.. I am sure everyone was just dying to hear how my bedroom was coming along... ;) -(that is a face. it is winking.) so, sorry. just let me know if you have any other stroke of brilliance ideas. I would love to hear them.

At last.

Finally.

The moment I have been waiting for, for ages.

I have to go, so I can start putting my room in boxes.

and get a move on! :)

fortunes? I wouldn't bet on it

First, I just have to show you this. I am not on my computer at home so I wasn't positive on how to make a collage. but my grandma totally looks like Judi Dench. Side profiles are hard to tell. but while she was showing me this I had three family members stop and ask if that was a headshot of grandma.. insane.

Today, I pulled out my AP biology book and this fluttered to the ground, apparently it was hidden in the pages..

Is my bio book really trying to tell me to stash the homework? I sure hope so. cause that is what I did.

Another utensil that is trying to foretell my life. This one was not so successful..

haha yeah... right. We took quizzes at school, then had to pay a dollar for our matchmaker results. I guess Mckay Hartzell is my soul mate. because I have a feeling the other column won't work out so well. Ironic, eh?

Jubilant: expressing joy.

It has been a whirlwind of a week. Though it has been physically straining, and I have gotten the least amount of sleep that I have gotten all year, There is alot to be happy about. I am going to express my joy, for I am in a jubilant mood.

I love mr. Van for the lack of homework we had this week.
Lack of homework in general actually.
Seminary has been inspiring. as usual.
I love long car rides with Jessie.
83 on my math test? cant complain.
the warmth is warming my soul.
I think i may invest in a yo-yo?
Nicole Darais. she is just a sweetheart.
cake baking.
The thrills of watching football stars sign a piece of paper. a necessary high school experience.
Brock Bodily, thank you sincerely for fixing Delilah.
I greatly enjoy long talks out in the snow while being watched by deer waiting to kill me.
I especially like the people I talked with.
The Jordan student council is really nice. I like them.
Les Miserables. even the name gives me the chills.
Keegan. be prepared.
my love for softball is being renewed. along with my hate for turf burns.
Hermione G is now on the high honor roll at PGHS.
Dear Janessa, I really actually love you. alot.
Sam Norton. enough said.
I have never seen the likes of such an eating contest. Shalisa vs. Ash. it was epic.

meet: Delilah.

yes. she is my phone.
I know that I am behind on the technology level. I understand that I do not fully utilize everything that could be done with my cellular computer.
But I am going to proclaim to the world my discovery. Though, I am the last one to figure it out. if you press the square button and the top button.. at the same time, you can take a picture of whatever is on your screen!!!!! [applause.]
I got ridiculed today for thinking that it was so awesome, but I dont mind. I just thought that I would inform my blog that it will now be seeing alot of pictures that I have taken off Delilah. It is very easily accessible. and quite entertaining.

and for those of you who do not know, Daphne is my car.
otherwise known as the yellow PT cruiser who sports a viking softball stick-on, right next to my yellow BoSox logo. Daphne & Delilah were made to be. If you see me. honk away.

do you hear the people sing? i did. three times.

I cannot seem to get this production out of the crevices of my brain. I. Loved. It. I am always humming the tunes, reciting the lines, asking keegan questions. And I often find myself driving slower in the car just so I can finish the song before I get home. It is magical. In more ways than one. So, Thank you. for enlightening me with the hardships of the french revolution. I wish I could be friends with every single one of those kids at my high school. I especially enjoy the ones I already am friends with. anyways. thanks.

love, kati

so I am totally fascinated with this Doppleganger week on facebook. I knew instantly who I would choose. Though I don't quite agree with it.

The strange thing is, as I was looking through these pictures I noticed that my cousin kind of resembles miley cyrus....

and of course, we all knew that my dad is a Achey Brakey Billy Ray look alike:

so maybe not quite. but pretty close.
I am so glad to know my family resembles the disney pop diva of the generation.

Tuesday, January 26

here comes the sun.

oh wait... its gone again.

i just arrived home from my much needed break to Florida. I have piles of math homework that need my attention but as usual, i love to procrastinate the day away. so i will just show some pictures.

(Dad was taking the picture.)

tire tracks. this implies that, yes, you
can drive on the exotic beach in daytona.

we did some swimming,

rode on some high thrill roller coasters,

and a vacation would not be complete
without balloon animals twisted from the
venezuelan balloon lady.

and, of course, we missed keegan dearly. it was strange having a family trip with out him. But he does a stellar job in the Les Miserables at the high school. If you haven't seen it yet, i highly reccommend it. PG has got talent.

oh.. but i am quite the lucky girl. next weekend i got picked up to go play a softball tournament in st. george!!
here comes the sun? oh yes. i am counting until i escape once more.
